The Neston Village website has been set up by Neston Recycling Group (NRG), with the aim of encouraging a great sense of community within Neston.

This site is arranged around two themes:

Community Building and Information
We have created a page of Local businesses and Local Contacts. This includes details about people who live in Neston and work locally and well as details about Neston School, local doctors and Councillors etc.

We have also launched the Neston Village Social Network. On our Social Network site you will be able to join in with, or start, a discussion about anything related to Neston. You can let everyone know about a local event - time, place etc. You can upload photo's and start a Blog. Please do visit the site and sign up.

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
We have created a few pages explaining how you can make a contribution to making Neston the most environmentally friendly village in Wiltshire: Top Tips, details about Biodeisel, how to Save Water, where to go for help with Saving Energy in the Home, details on how to Compost properly, a direct link to the Chippenham Freecycle website, and links to other useful Environmental Websites.

PLUS, we now have the new online Corsham Community Area Rethink Rubbish Directory. Thanks to funding from the Millenium Awards and assistance from the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust we have created the Corsham Community Area Rethink Rubbish Directory. Who are NRG
NRG was formed in August 2002. Our vision is to make Neston the most environmentally friendly community in Wiltshire. We want to make it easy for people in the community to leave the next generation a positive legacy, rather than major environmental problems. We aim to do this by promoting good environmental stewardship and a sense of 'community' in Neston. We hope that every person in Neston will benefit from our activities.
